I'm a professional, full time UK-based martial arts instructor, events organiser, YouTuber and antique dealer.
My specialism is the development and use of arms and armour throughout history, from prehistoric times to the modern day, with a focus on the medieval, renaissance and Victorian eras.
I have taught all over Europe and the USA, published research, developed replicas and training equipment, competed, done TV and movies work, and worked as Head of Arms & Armour at a London auction house.
My YouTube channel has over 430K subscribers and has had over 100 million views.

Product Development
For over two decades I have been researching and using historic weapons, having handled thousands of antique originals. I help manufacturers develop new training equipment and historic replicas, as well as reviewing them on YouTube.

As a trained archaeologist and having a whole career of historical research behind me, I think it is important to make history seem alive and relevant if you want to get people engaged in it. My channel 'scholagladiatoria' gets up to 2 million views per month.
